You say that like it's a bad thing.

It's not, just most women I know don't care for sports, they say they like baseball or football but really don't know players or teams. Also, there is no Hockey team were I live and no real following. So being surrounded by a bunch of women who love a man sport Hockey and a bunch of guys who like a more feminine (compared to hockey) sport like soccer, is kinda odd to me.

It's noty just that, I hear allot of women say they like football and MMA cause they know I am into it, then when we watch it they're clueless. You gals seem to know your shirt on Hockey, it's kinda cool actually.

Nascar is racing, how cam you say you are doing a sport when you are sitting down? Sure it takes allot of concentration and the g-forces will ware on the body, but I just can't call something a sport when an ass does not leave the seat, accpet for the pit crew I guess.

Synchronized swimming takes a hell of allot more physical conditioning then NASCAR does. I would prefer to watch NASCAR, but it is not a sport, and synchronized swimming is.

my uncle will watch Nascar for HOURS, he'll be sitting on the edge of his seat watching it, I don't get how excited he gets over it, he'll scream things like "Come on, you call that a pit stop?!", It's really amazing that there's people who follow Nascar so closely, he watches it like most people watch actual sports.

im more of a go and actually watch person not sit on my ass at home and watch it on tv thats boring. So in that respect I don't really keep up with sports. I've gone to many a local football game and I was a manager in many of the male athletic teams in high school. How can u have an American sports thread and have the options be UKized with the American name in perentases? Shoulda had an all of the above choice.

I really don't follow any team sports that closely, I'll watch like the Superbowl and that's it, I'm more into singles sports.

to emphasize my point about the fans......a few years back man city were playing at spurs in a midweek cup game.....between 4 and 5'000 man city fans had made the 200* mile trip........at half time spurs were 3 - 0 up and city had had a player sent of.......well lets just say city's support inspired the team.....they were that loud and constant it brought extra fight out in the team........city scored 4 goals in that 2nd half and won the game
