This is the first time I watched AI all season. I thought that was pretty awesome, too.

My family has this "pool" when it gets down to the final 12 - or this year, 13. Folks put in $10, pick a contestent and if that contestant wins, they get the moola. I never watch the show but get involved for the heck of it. So back several weeks ago, my sister calls me and says there are only 2 names left, which do you want? I said I didn't care, so she let my 5-yr great niece pick her name and I'd get whoever's left.

The person that was left? Kris Allen.

It's killing my fam that here I am, not even really caring who wins and I've now got a chance at $130.

Yea, Kris was completely astonished. Adam will certainly get a contract, but I'm glad Kris won.

Sounds like it was a good result....I'm glad Adam didnt win, I dont know about the US, but the second place getter has traditionally done better than the winner where Oz Idol is concerned.

My kid is bummed. She liked Adam. I erased it last night then found out KISS had been on... I love watching the HasBeens. My nickname in high school all those decades ago was KissFreak.
