dont forget that superbowl day in america is pretty much a national holiday.....whereas sport worldwide is watched whenever its possible

Sky Blue is right, the olympics will easily get more viewers than the Superbowl, and the Football (soccer) world cup final IS the most watch sporting event in the world...

It does get lots of viewers, but there are more popular sporting events.
