Am I gross for not using those toilet covers they have in public bathrooms? I don't see how they can be comfy while your doing your business... :ninja

I hover.
Most of the time if I'm going in a public bathroom, it's because I have REALLY got to go and I don't have time enough to fight with the damn cover.

I try not to sit on other people's ass skin cells. I hold my daughter over the opening too. She knows how to do the "tuck" (arms folded across herself so she doesn't touch ANYTHING). If I had a fumigation apparatus, I would delouse the both of us upon leaving the bathroom. 
I was in a bathroom once that had sanatizer stuff right in the stall that you could wipe the seat with, best invention Ive ever seen
I have to be in DESPERATE need before I'll use a publis restroom, and when I do use one I hover, I won't sit on a public toilet even with one of the paper seat covers.
If the covers are provided I use them. I try to not need to sit for my business in public.
What a topic! Well, I like to be comfortable; (as comfortable as one can be whilst doing one's business in public!) therefore, I do sit. I've not used those covers; however, I do cover up the toilet with TP beforehand.
I remember years ago, it was claimed that there had been a study done involving public toilets, phones, and keyboards, and the toilets came out as the 'cleanest'. If that were indeed true I'd hate to use those phones and keyboards!

I don't use a public bathroom unless I absolutely have to. But when I do, you bet there's no way I'm sitting on that thing. IDK how much good the cover does, but it's better than sitting on the bare toilet. I don't trust other people.
if i have to go, i go! i sit on the damn toilet seat and do my business! people are so paranoid these days! ive never used the seat covers!

Actually maybe I am more an OCD when it comes to use of public toilets. I actually triple or quadruple the seat cover ( I know am wasteful but have to be very careful out there with STDs lurking and stuffs :yuk) ....if not available. then i use paper towels instead of the toilet paper as they're thicker/more protection
