Allergies and crap...

Am I the only one whose allergies have run rampant and ended up with a sinus infection? I mean the runny nose that made me look like rudolph was bad enough, but not it has solidified into this green, gelatinous mess that shoots out my nose. I could make a killing supplying green slime to nickolodean right now. I DID make a call into the doc much earlier this time than I normally do and kicked it in the ass earlier. Hopefully by next week it will be cleared up. Anyone else dealing with this BS?

When I was a kid I would have allergies from Spring until Fall. No more though. I feel for you.

Any time I get the sniffles it turns to a sinus infection. And if I don't go early I end up really really sick.

I go see my dr. he takes one look at my throat and he goes.. here ya go.. he doesn't even check my lungs he knows.. LOL.

Last time he gave me a prescription with refills on it so I wouldn't have to go see him for the same thing in a month.:surrender

I haven't been sick since March... but I feel like that is going to change.. Everytime I go outside my eyes itch and last night hen I came home I sneezed for a good half hour.. :surrender

Hey you're my twin in this sinus infection

I suffer just like you. What made it worse is it paired itself with a root canal fiasco which till this day, i am still suffering the sinus infection but with clearer secretions and now affecting another upper molar which is becoming more sensitive to cold drinks etc. I was on various antibiotics for about 2 months total ( on and off). I hate to see in the future, surgery on my sinuses which can be exploratory in manner if this doesn't resolve in the next few weeks

I think my situation is a little better right now than it would be because I am back taking my regular allergy meds. I am sure it would have hit sooner and worse had I not been doing that.. you just reminded me I need to make a dentist appointment though...

I am w/ you, though, but not as severe. I've already been through that this year and seem to be doing better now. I get at least one sinus infection a year and suffer from sinus headaches quite often. Doesn't help that the pollen count is off the charts in Georgia. Hope you feel better soon!!!

Rback as I posted earlier I never have allergies-hubby's the one w/chronic allergies but this year I suffer and I suffer terribly. I picture scratching my eyes out and drilling two holes in my nose on the bridge of my nose. Alas I don't have pierced ears so I don't pierced my nose and usually that isn't where I see them pierce it anyway.....

I empathize with you all.
