Congrats, Kelvin. Mark this date for when medical innovation slowed to a snail's pace. If there's a disease there isn't a cure for, we just put the brakes on research. But I'm sure you're happy to see the US surrender liberty and become more like Europe. That's more important, right?

I don't get why mediocre is such a worthy goal.

Nah. I hav family members living there. They prefer liberty. Who knows I might join them someday.

Thats goes without saying that its goodness. But the govt could have played a greater part to help those people without insurance cover.
No, the gov't would have only taken the bill from zero to millions of dollars. Fewer people would have been seen. Fewer of those seen would have been treated, because they would have insisted on insurance information if available.


eta: but you're right that they could have played a greater part.
