You're not worth the expletives. Yes my mom was going to foot the bill. I can't fucking afford it. I'm sorry I have a mother that cares?

It's a chipped tooth for God's sake. What, you think having it fixed is going to help you get laid? Show you're mom some respect and save her the bill for something so trivial as your "issue".

I should have quoted you while I had the chance... Wow you're lamer than I thought.

Are you usually this witty?

When my son asks his mother to do simple things for him, I'll joke with him and ask him if he has his mom hold his "privates" if he has to go pee as well. Seems like your mom is still holding your dick when you have to take a leak.

Dude... You're more than welcome to walk around with missing teeth or chipped teeth. Me I'm getting it fixed and my mother obviously wants to help me get it fixed or else she wouldn't lend me the money. Get over yourself. not to mention whenever i run my tongue along the tooth it feels like I'm running it over chipped glass.

Apologies, I just hate people that bitch about nothing and act like for some reason the world owes them something, and they aren't even using their own money.

Correct me if I'm wrong, aren't you the same guy who's always bitching about his mother? You can't have it both ways when you take her money.

Do you guys get some sort of insurance for this? here we can go to an NHS dentist and I think pay half. No idea how much fixing it would skin you here right enough. My brother is a dentist so I'd just ask him to fix me up and pay him cost price. :D my poor kids are gonna hate uncle James! *evil laugh*

As for the parents paying it thing. Cos it has been mentioned. I hate my parents paying for things. I feel embarrassed. When I moved out I got my mother to cancel all direct debits that related to me such as contact lenses used to buy me. I took on what I could afford and went without the rest. Having said that when I was looking like I was going to need to pay my tuition fees ( I know I got it lucky living in Scotland) my parents insisted that they would pay despite my declining mutiple times and insisting I could afford it when really It would have made me severely financially unstable. It's ok to accept help sometimes if they can afford it. I'd never expect it though.

I do the same with my 7 year old in a way only a 7 year old can understand.. I am making sure he stands on his own two feet by himself without either my or his mom's help by teaching him early.. I use a lot of sarcasm on him and he used to hate it at first, but know knows the difference.. Kids needs reminders..

As an example I always say to him when he come out of the bathroom with hands wet " Did you pee on your hands" because I know he washed them but forgot to dry them again and tell him to got dry them..

At 7 he makes his bed every time he is here and cleans up after himself.. :thumbup Been like that for a while..

Not in Canada.. We have our health care that covers medical only. At one time they talked about Dental but we changed governments and it never happened..

And I recently found out dental is extremely expensive in Canada even compared to the US..

I'm actually kind of proud that my boy doesn't want to spend HIS hard earned money on anything but that he'd rather spend mine (but I don't let him and then he decides he doesn't need what he's looking at after all).
