actually this kinda goes with this topic....immaturity in a "why do i get treated like a kid" thread....dodge....look in the mirror and see why people call u immature...i'm not trying to start a fight u can't win....but seriously...quit taking offense to anything and everything said, maybe accept the fact that you ARE A KID and enjoy it...but when your in the presence of ADULTS either play in the other room with your toys or ACT older then u really are...otherwise this same shit is going to stick around.

My last comment on this whole "maturity" deal. I can joke around with adults. I know plenty of 21-30 year olds, and even my next door neighboors dad that I can joke around with and get along fine with. I'm just not gonna be some pussy and take it like a man when I can fight back if I'm insulted. That's like just rolling into a ball and letting some guy beat your ass when you can get up and beat the shit out of him.

No. It's more like knowing when to walk away from a situation or battle you won't win. It is pointless to continue, when we tell you WHY it is that you are treated in such a fashion, and rather than learn from our wisdom, you choose to argue your point that you're mature when clearly, you are not. If you were, you'd understand we're offering advice for you to take, rather than ignore.
Not all 21-30 year olds are on the same level as those who are here. Those in your neighborhood might just tolerate you more because they know your family. I know I just act like a kid is all right when I know his/her parents, out of respect for the friendships we have...not because the child is "mature" in his/her own mind.
