There's a wasted talent, right there. I like Adele...but Amy Winehouse tops her in the talent department, IMO. Had she been strong enough to actually stay sober, she could've had an AMAZING career. What a shame.

i totally agree. Adele is a cleaned up version of Amy winehouse. Amy was the shit though....I'm so sad for her that she didn't make it...

I used to be a drummer so actually I am very picky but I will listen to almost anything for a minimum of 20 seconds or so. Liking it is another story.

As long as it isn't country or gospel, I'll give it a shot. Doesn't mean I'll like it...but I'll at least listen to it and SEE if I like it. Having said that...I love me some Lil' Wayne and I'm just guessing that you don't agree. :24:

If you like harmony you will not find a better genre of music to listen to than gospel music. I love that stuff for that reason. Some of them buggers can really belt it out. Singing is one of my bestest things what I like to do. NOTE... I do not like the lyrics or their message... end of note.

But I also love Julio Iglesias, Andrea Bocelli, and Charlotte Church. And Tori Amos is one of my favorites...that is one talented woman!!!

I don't know what it's like where you are...but here in the South blacks and whites still don't mix much when it comes to church. It has definitely been a learning experience for me. I quite enjoy being the object of the entire congregation's fascination when I show up w/ her at church, though. :24:

Andrea Bocelli is my calming force...if I have a bad day I'll go for a long drive on some country roads and just blare his music until I feel better. Always works. Charlotte was only 13 when she gained notoriety. Beautiful voice...haven't heard much out of her since, though.

what you need to understand is that adele got screwed over and messed about on by an ex boyfriend,he really hurt her.alot of her songs are about that......i must say though that i hope that she doesn't start writing about his pending lawsuit...the lawsuit that states that he should get royalties because his actions were her inspiration when recording
