absolutely not. I act like my shoe size, which is 15 (so a hormonal sex crazed teenage man child hahaha) and mentally I'm 9...so people are quite amazed after hearing me talk or reading something I've read that I'm actually 36 lol...I'm even told I look in my mid twenties...that I have a good head of hair (being Italian, maybe that runs in the family haha) and that I'm a babyface (when I'm clean shaveen of course haha)...I act like a sarcastic smart ass, I like having fun, I like going out and having a good time...and I definetly believe age is only a number and you're only as old as you feel..and I feel pretty dam good and I got ALOT of living left to do...so acting my age? NAH lol

I don't aspire to act my age....that doesn't sound very healthy. I do aspire to gain maturity. I think many adults age and few mature.

I most certainly did...I just took it an extra step to fully summarize myself...but I STILL don't think I act my age...I think being in your 30's is supposed to entail that you have to start buckling down and thinking about your life, your future and have a good idea what you want to do with both. I think, with age, comes a more precise understanding of life as you experience more of it...or something like that hahah...tho there are those, either through their own choices, or through no fault or choice of their own, have to grow up well beyond their time...me?...I have an idea on what I want to do...I am aspiring to excel in duties pertaining to administration and I hope to obtain a state job once the economy has recovered from the recession that we're in...and have a better salary, benefits and pension and can retire in about 25 years and still have a good portion of my life to live after I retire.

With all of that being said, that doesn't mean I have to act responsible 365/24/7...I like to do what people do in their 20's...I like to go out, bar hop, play pool, shoot darts, go to concerts and comedy shows...stuff that probably most have gotten out of their system... I can still hang with people 10 years younger than me...so again...acting my age...whatever THAT is supposed to mean..NOPE.

I act like I'm 4 sometimes, running around in circles, and sometimes I'm like 15, playing some random Japanese MMO.

I was night clubbing at 16 and I hung around with older boys more then girls of my own age. I just generally get on better with males.
Now I have my slippers at the ready haha.

Men act younger then women. I don't think men ever fully grow up lol. They like to mess and joke about. I like this :)

I resemble this remark. :D

I have become boring with age. I think it may have to do with looking after a family, and I am just feeling wiped out most of the time. Depending where I am though... like my sis having a bouncy castle for the kids in her garden. I had to jump in and have a go.

But when home at the moment, I act like an OAP.

I guess maybe I should give a better example. When I go to a big box store I park in the first available space reasonably near the exit rather than trying to park close to the store. I prefer steps to elevators unless I am going up several floors. I still run occasionally and like to play sports. I never move like I am in pain if I am just walking around. I like to walk and hike. I see a lot of my contmporaries looking to not move. When I have been doing physical work I never seem to slow down the younger guys and occasionally goad them to keep up with the old man.

Going by this example, then I often do exert myself by taking the hard way to do things - e.g. stairs if preferable etc. Same kind of thing in the gymn - I often exert myself sometimes more than I should perhaps when doing cardio vascular work.

I've often seen oldies there - and I mean folks who must be in their 60s, 70s even working out. Some of them put the younger folk to shame. One guy walking very gingerly (really looked very old...) still working out keeping flexible. It kinda inspires me to hopefully never give up keeping fit if those guys can do it at that age.

My actions...work, drive, shower, eat, take care of the dog, clean, go to graduate school, maintain my relationship. Sounds like a 24 year old? I guess so.

I am trying to avoid being an old fart although some days my joints remind me of my age.

Sometimes I act older, sometimes younger.

I have days where I watch tv and knit pretty much all day and then others where I go outside and spin around in the rain or sing into the whisk when I unload the dishwasher.

I've always been mistaken for being a few years older, not because I look old but because I don't walk around like a half assed doofus like the majority of my peers. I made my fair share of stupid mistakes, so I think I went from 18 to 28 lol.
