ACTA: This has to be unconstiutional in some way

I'm not well informed on this subject. However I'll say that as part of a responsible capitalistic system, copyright enforcement is important. For example, China printing out millions (billions?) of dollars of bootleg movies and music. That's wrong.

On the other hand, individuals who purchase movies and music, because they are not renting it, should have the right to make copies for their own use. I'm talking about a song that you want on several of your electronic devices or backup copies of movies that you have purchased.

It sounds like it might be tough finding a fair balance.

So what are the statistics on pirated movies/music these days?

I mean, I don't really have any moral dilemmas on the situation, I just want to know the stats. If I get my book published and someone wants to steal it, I'll cause the distraction! But I'd also appreciate them givin' me money.
