accident

i was out with andy and the dog yesterday just doing a recce for a photoshoot i am doing next week. i just asked andy to stand in so i could get a rough idea of scale and framing.. i wasnt concerning my self with exposure or making them sharp.. just a recce snap.

But just as i was about the take the pic a cyclist came past so we moved out their way by time we got back the cyclist was part of the way down the tunnel.. and this is how it turned out..

I REALLY like it.. i think im gonna re-shoot it.. obviously minus the blurry Andy and Sam in the forground.

what do u think...is it worth a shot?

I like the idea and think it's worth a go. Do a couple from different angles... like one where you were and maybe one with you standing closer to the wall on the right side. It might make a nice tight corner effect. Maybe crouching down might be interesting as well. I dunno... just thoughts.

nice! I love the light that comes out on my DSLR. I love doing night shots like this.

Even though it's an accident, it does kinda look cool. it would make the unsuspecting viewer wonder what the deal was with the cyclist seeing how he is in focus. Interesting from that perspective even if unintentional.
