A few months ago, I was watching a local news story on TV about a girl who was about 10 or 11 years old who was concerned about her physical health, and did a lot of physical exercises on a regular basis as a result. She walked and ran a lot, rode her bicycle a great deal, and used exercise equipment a lot to get into shape and to stay in shape.

However, her father believed she was taking her health too seriously. He thought she should just enjoy her childhood and not worry about getting a lot of exercise so much at her age.

But I disagree. I think the little girl was right. The thing is, if the young girl gets used to exercising and eating right now, it'll increase the chances that she will continue to do so when she's an adult.

The girl was saying that getting exercise and staying healthy, even at her age, matters. I agree with her!
