I'll be having one every time I go to town now until they stop making them.

If you have a Kroger's Food Store too..... they sell EggNog Ice Cream. I bought 6 containers last year between Thanksgiving and New Year's. This year.... I can't find it yet. I've checked 2 stores so far. :(
I gotta be careful with icecream and stuff like that because Im lactose intolerant but a little is worth the belly ache I get because its so damn good!!!

Yeah, but what even is it & what does it taste like?
If it's made right and is very cold.... it is thick and sweet and delicious. You've got to try it to actually understand.

Never had it really. I prefer hot chocolate.
Oh... don't get me wrong. I love hot chocolate on a cold day/night.

Unless you like sweet things to drink.... you might not care for it anyway.

I know but am ok ... funny is i have a problem with chocolate too .. yesterday i took 3 small pieces of chocolate ..well i had a nice hight temperature...i was hot for a while :D

anyway back to the topic any reason if this tradition?
how this have started..
As far back as I can remember, my family always had eggnog during the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays. So..... I kept the tradition going with my own family. :)

My hubby's family made their own homemade eggnog. He's made it for me..... but I prefer the store bought for some reason. Probably because that's what I'm used to. *shrugs*

My family does, with booze added. My girlfriends and I make margaritas, instead. We haul the blender with us every house we go. I stop at two and they keep going.

By the end of the night they are seeing all sorts of things. :D

I don't know if it's just in the South, but '"Southern Comfort" Traditional Egg Nog' is freaking awesome! It's non-alcoholic, despite the name. It only comes out this time of year. It goes quick too. It's the best store-bought egg nog I've ever tasted. If y'all see it in your grocers dairy section, buy one and try it.

Egg Nogg sounds nasty

No interest in it.

It's really not nasty at all. You've got to like a sweet drink though. A thick sweet drink.

Perhaps you'd like it the way I fix it now and then. With Spiced Capt. Morgan Rum added to it. You can even add ice to it. That stuff is smooooootttttthhhhhh..... going down. :)
