A special thanks to a vet!

I cant believe what my good friend Dave just did for John and myself for Memorial day...
He just called me on his way home from work. He and his family are going to Omaha this weekend. He wanted to give John a special thanks for serving our country. He is giving us his kick mutha fuckin ass Jeep for a night. John really likes this Jeep. It's huge and bad ass! No top, 44 inch tires, oh man... What a great thing to do... I cant believe it!!

i thought memorial day was for the recognition of fallen war vets. No offense, I thank your man and our troops for their service as well. Just kinda confused, cause I thought thats what Veteran's Day was about.

We will be driving it to the cemetery to visit my grampa and leave a couple flags. Some of us patriotic types don't need a special holiday to say thanks. It's every day.

What an amazing ride and great thing to do for us...
John and I drove the sweet jeep to my grampa's grave and left a flag there for him. It was a very special moment. It was only the 2nd time I have visited his grave since he died almost 10 years ago. We walked the cemetery looking at all the flags for the vets. It was awesome. A very proud moment to see so many vets in a small cemetery like that. I took pics and will post them up tonight.
My grampa loved Jeeps so I thought he would really like to see this one. He made an old Willys war jeep back in the day that was in movies and stuff. Looked like something out of MASH. hehe
