A law dealing with child abduction

This is not a good point as to why this law should never be passed, there were other good points, but this is not one of them.

I don't care if they want to get off just because they returned the child. They broke the law by taking that child in the first place the fuckers need to be punished. Anyone who puts a parent through this should be beat to death! I could not even imagine the pain of going through this.

Of course it would be heaven sent if that child is returned, but that person still needs to be punished.

why not? you dont believe that people would attempt to abuse this law to get away with other criminal behavior?

who made you the arbiter of what is and isnt a good point? starting the thread doesnt make you moderator of the thread also. i think its a valid point and a glaring reason why such a law would never work. harm is done when a child is abducted, PERIOD. this is harm that must be remedied by the courts, hence sending the abductor to prison where if he's lucky he wont get gang raped once everyone figures out why he's there.

i'm curious as to why you're asking about this because you seem rather adamant on this issue. care to elaborate?

Ok, this has to be one of the dumbest threads I've ever read! Bri, I cant believe the cheek of you accusing Donnie of being a bad parent when you believe that parents and their children should be punished by being put into protective custody for having a crime commited against them and someone who fucks up peoples lives permanently should be rewarded. I'd love to hear your opinion on this if one of your family members got kidnapped and you were forced to live in hiding for the rest of your life because the cunt who did it wasn't punished for his actions.
Someone who kidnaps kids is so fucked up in the head, the're not going to think rationally and return it because they wont get done for it. You are mistakening kidnappers for rational and logical people. Kidnapping children is about as far away from logic and rational thinking as you can get.
