A Few Snow Geese

These birds are gathering in preparation for their flight south. Unfortunately they were a great distance away but the pics should give you a good idea. By the time I left the field was white as snow. They kept coming in waves of hundreds at a time. Once again, sorry for the big post.

Each one has a voice and each one used it. It was very loud. I've seen gatherings of lots of birds before but never in those numbers. It was amazing.

where do you go to take these?

There's a bird sanctuary a little over an hours drive from my house. If you go there and take the path to the right you'll see 'em. According to some folks that were there they gather every morning. When you land at Vancouver airport call me and we'll go check the place out. We might even get the time to see the birds.
