Considering skyblue didn't follow through and start that automobile contest I thought I would start my own. :24: I win........... :D

Never, ever go to the drags without proper hearing protection especially if you intend to do any photography. Without a proper zoom lens you can't get close enough unless you want to make your ears bleed. I had the bells of Westminster Abby ringing in my head for a week.

No offense pj but this thread was posted so show the cars I decided to show. Not to debate or discuss what cars you think I should post.

You have my permission to start a thread about common stuff that almost anyone can see every day. That would include Mopar stuff if you like. There's lot of it around and lots of pics are available on the web.

On a side note... I owned a '71 Duster 2 dr HT until Sept. 1981. :D And you have owned ????

Maybe I should post a shot of my first car. T'was a '55 Willy's Bermuda. Bet you didn't even know they made a car. :24:

OMG! So true! I'll never forget the first time I went to the drag races. You cannot talk to the person next to you at all. So loud that it doesn't do any good to yell in their ears either. And the smells...... Rubber, fuels..... :willy_nilly:

I know my ears were ringing for a couple of days at least. It sounded like I was in a tunnel or something.

But it sure was exciting! :D
