Let's make this section at least kind of interesting. Let's talk about the earths warming, except, let's not get crazy citing someone elses stuff, let's look at it from a simple approach, our collective education(s) or personal opinions.

Of course I would prefer some research be done, and for responses not to be totally unfounded.

ROUND 1: Ozone Layer Depletion.

If you have an understanding as to how it works, what it is composed of, and what can destroy it, let's start with that, seeing as how that is always such a hot topic.

Of course I will jump in and offer information, but only what knowledge I have to this point.
 
from my understanding:

> lightning creates ozone ( :O=O=O: ) in storms and such, and the ozone rises to the stratosphere?

> ultraviolet rays decomposes the ozone into diatomic ( :O=O: ) oxygen, and the oxygen either stays, or falls back to the earth; where

> the cycle continues.

now, the apparent issue is that the hydrocarbons interfere with this process by combining with the diatomic oxygen molecules as they fall back to earth, thus ending the cycle.

They offer an opportunity to be oxidized, the O3 being already very unstable gives up an Oxygen molecule, because it cannot stand the jealous feeling of the threesome:D

And this does not have any danger in relation to O2, you could technically never have too much oxygen in the earths atmosphere.

Low lying O3 is far more toxic than practically any compund we are dealing with in this thread.

What has never been determined by science YET was wether or not the effects of our very own heater, is more dangerous to the Ozone layer than greenhouse gasses, to date the studies that have been done are based on issues WITHIN the earths atmosphere;)

Our own universe could be out to kill us.

BTW Al Gore invented the universe:D

I was gonna say he's the biggest threat to the Ozone :D

That's some interesting stuff. Not a single study has been done on it? Amazing.
