That was how my second game at bowling started last night. Followed by a 7 spare, another strike and a 7 spare. Elated & disappointed but a 267 is a good game.

I'd say that's damn good, AUFred. I rarely go bowling enough to become a pro. Great game however.

They have what is called Extreme Bowling which they do at different times including modnights on the weekend. Loud music, blacklights, mirror balls, laserlights all an experience which is not for a true bowler.

i bowl league once a week as a general rule. I will occasionally sub for another bowler.

I use to have a VERY good league average, and I use to dig going to the bowling alley on a saturday night with the chicks.

Back then after a couple of beers I'd bowl lefty (I'm right handed) and still would break 100 LOL

Honestly, more of a blast than league bowling just having a great time.

I bowled on a league during high school and had a 130 average. Yea, not great. Then one day last year my friends and I randomly decided to go bowling and I bowled a 240, with like 5 strikes in a row. In the years I bowled on a league, the highest I got was a 160. Then I bowl for the hell of it one day and break my high score by a long shot.

When I bowled on a league, my parents forced me into it because they didn't want me quitting what I started. Fair enough, but I viewed bowling as an obligation and didn't have fun with it. Funny, same thing happened with AYSO. Which leads me to wonder whether or not many kids who play sports enjoy it, or are coerced into it by parents who want their kids to be involved.

Team sports don't seem to do much for me. I find enjoyment in going to the gym though.....which I need to get back to!
