70 year old to have second child??

World's oldest mother wants to have another child - Telegraph


A 70-year-old Indian woman who gave birth to a baby girl in November is already planning for a second child.....I find this utterly ridiculous.
I agree that a person should have the choice, but this woman will be risking her health....again....to give birth to a second child. God knows what harm she will do not only to herself but unborn feotus?
I think it a selfish act on her part.

I think it's terribly selfish as well. . .I mean, how long is this woman going to live? She's going to leave behind her small children to grow up with no mother - just because she wanted to have kids at 70? Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not against all "late" pregnancies - I waited a long time to have my son - but I was still in my 30's when it did happen - 70 is just plain ridiculous.

well shes having ivf treatment...I just think it bizarre why she would wish to risk this again?..She has a healthy child, shes so lucky.....why not concentrate on raising that child?..i mean shit, by the time her child is ten shes gonna be 80?....if she lives that long.
It kinda riles me a lil, cuz she should be thinking of their future.

and its not being mean it is selfesh think about her child what kind of life is it gonna have when its 10 the mother will be to old to play with them and they will most likely end up caring for that parent at a very young age

Im not saying its horrible...but yes i am saying its selfish...the woman needs a reality check, and stop thinking its all about her and what she wants...do you realize what pressure she is putting on an unborn child to survive??
She should thank god for the miracle that she has a beautiful baby now...not even 2 months old...instead of concerning herself with getting the next bun in the oven.

So you think we should be happy for the Old woman who will have two poor 10 year old sons bathing her, feeding her, diapering her, wiping her drool, cooking her meals, laying her to bed, taking her around to the shops, changing her and many more things?

This is in general, my nan is 72 and she's very active, plays with my 3 year old cousin to no end xD

the way it works in india is.......unless they're wealthy the kids will end up working in legal sweat shops for 14 hours a day to bring a meagre living in.......if they are wealthy,if they die the kids will be so young they wont know that they're money is being syphoned off,such is greed and corruption in india

I agree it does seem pretty selfish on her part. I mean has she given any thought to what's going to happen to the children when she passes away. She is too old, in my opinion. There is a risk that problems could arise with the pregnancy and the unborn child. She should be grateful for the child she already has.
