3 Hours in the hospital later....

When I got done taking Austin to his appt, me and him stopped by walmart to do some christmas shopping. I bought him a pack of tic tacs and a few other things. When we got home, I told him to give a tic tac to his brother. Guess what his brother does?? He stuck it up his damn nose!!! He had it so far back that I couldnt get it out. By this time the docs offices was closing, so I had to take him to the er. One of the triage nurses tried to help me get it out, but that did work. I decided I didnt want to stay at the ER, so we went over to youth care since it was opening then. (didnt know that before I went to er.) So, after waiting there, the tic tac was pretty much desolved by then. He used some saline and washed it out. Jacob turns to me and says "momma, can I eat the candy now?". hahaa I told him no because it was in his buggers. He is now going around telling everyone about the tic tac that was in his nose in his buggers. lol. I am finally at home and eating dinner. Sucky way to spend an off day.

haha, sorry you had to spend your day in the ER, but that's one of those things you cant help but laugh at.

I know. I was definally laughing afterwards.

My kids have never put stuff in their nose, so this came to a shock for me. lol I guess i have to be on the lookout for small objects now. lol

haha...glad it worke dout V still kind of funny though.....I had to wear a wvu shirt today at work all day because wvu beat rutgers this weekend....so I haven't heard the end of it

gotta love it when they put things in there nose. Morgan put a sunflower seed way up in her nose once, fortunatly on the way to the er we were able to get her to blow it out. Im glad it worked out ok for ya!

Brianna did something like that when she was 2 yrs old. I was at work in the ER when my husband brought her in. She put one of those foam looking tips that are on the end of an eyeshadow brush up her nose. The doc used something (looked like pliers) to pull it out. Didnt even hear a whimper out of her.
But thats kinda funny, a tic tac. Never heard that one before. Lol

my youngest sister put a rasin up her nose one time. never got it out. im sure its out by now tho. maybe blew it out or just went somewhere.

lol, it was the orange kind. He had orange running down his face. He screamed on the way to the hospital, but when we got there, I think that is when it started melting or something because it didnt hurt him as much anymore.
