24 hour watch

well I got the watch tonight and it absofreakinlutly sucks

in the military we stad watches....the watch I happen to be on happens to be 24hours....I'm the main point of contact for anything weapons related for the night until the crew comes back tomorrow morning

this is basicly all I can do...well this and watch movies....life is boring unless we get a truck in....I've hit golf balls in the feilds behind the office a few times too...this is usually a very boring watch

How often do you get the watch. We have to stand duty at the barracks (also 24) once a month. But since this is your job and all, do you have it more often?

i remember the days on the ship with the 24 hour duty days that would include a 4 hour watch, fire drills, security force drills, and training. oh, and thats all on top of a full work day, 0630 to 1600. i feel your pain brotha!

we usually only get it twice a month or so but things happen and we get a few more times....

i am on shore duty now, and we are in six sections..????? :dunno and its not like you have a watch one duty day and then have off the other. every duty day you have a watch... a couple more years and i am done!
