Somewhat Known
First is some good news on my part. I just bought 3 head of steer for $800.00. What a smoking deal that was. I will use them for steer roping and such. The wife doesn't know about it yet, but she knew I was going to get them anyway. Hell, you can't buy that much meat in a market for that much. I am not planning on using them for the meat anyway. Tomorrow a buddy of mine is going to have my own brand for them and they will officially be mine. We drew up a brand and he will have it made for me tomorrow and we are going to brand them. This is something I am looking forward to. I have helped in the past to do something like this, but to have my own brand is a good thing.

The second is simply this. I called bullshit on a guy this evening. About 10 yrs ago I was riding in a rodeo in El Paso Tx. This was a rodeo in which I won riding bulls. I happened to over hear a conversation at the bar tonight. This guy was telling another about a rodeo he rode in and it took place in El Paso Tx.. He was telling this guy how he rode saddle broncs and ended up in the fence and broke his leg and ended up with pins and such in his leg. He said he was pretty much crippled for about 4 months. The cowboy this happened to is a very good friend of mine. He knows this guy, but he must of been trying to impress this girl as he knows all the details. This guy who was telling the story must of not known that I was standing there and I immediately called bullshit on his story. He then proceeds to call bullshit on my part. Hell, myself and others were the ones who went to the hospital after the rodeo and saw him laying there. Infact, it was my truck in which he rode in to get him home which is about 500 miles from where we live. This cowboy is my friend and still rides today.
I guess the point to all of this is I am not afraid to call bullshit on anyone. Why do people want to tell another mans story if it isn't their own? Who the hell are they trying to impress?
