No I never forgot. I posted the comparison for the not so experienced ones. I take folks like you, sky, Janie O'babe etc. are already aware of it.

The one I bought was only $1199.00 and Canon's measly 100 - 400 is $1820.00 and that's a sale price. I owned canon's 100 - 400 and to be frank I can't see any difference in the output as far as quality is concerned. Matter of fact I think Sigma's IS is a heck of a lot better.

....that cost more than my camera...I guess as a good lens should...but I think I will just stick to shitty artistic photographs as 50mm
