And you can't say that all older men have devious ideas about Becky, that is just not right, it could be an innocent curiosity about her

personally I think her outfit is cool but that's about it. The anime look is awesome. Better on a real woman though.

Serious about what? Would you stop your child having fun, as far as I can see there is no sexual connotation in the way she dances. Whether people whack off to her it is their problem they have to control, not for society to stop people having innocent fun.
I sure as hell wouldnt put her on Youtube and let her accept gifts from men that are not her age or a whole lot older than her. When my daughter put skimpy clothed pictures up on myspace you bet your ass that I had a word with her about it. Maybe if you guys had kids of your own you would think differently. Are any of you parents of a young girl? I didnt think so...Come back after you have a teenager and then tell me what you would let her do and what you wouldnt.

The parents should be ashamed at themselves for making money off their child in this way. I wouldnt want anyone making the comments about my daughter the way that the comments have been made about this girl. I would yank my daughters Youtube account if she ever pulled a stunt like this not encourage her to bask in funds made off of dancing for all types of people to see. Especially dirty ass perverts! Fuck that!

But it's not so much her dances that are wrong but I do think she could wear a different kind of outfit. She went to Japan and did a photoshoot for a "lad's mag" even the Japanese guy didn't try and dress it up, he said he would not be allowed to do that in the UK. And I think that is when it does cross the line.

I forgot to mention this earlier, but did anyone else feel uncomfrtable when she was getting bullied online and at school? I can only imagine what that sort of thing will do to her.

I'm so glad someone else watched this! been asking everyone and no one has seen it!!

so many points to this program that make me feel very uneasy..

firstly, she's a 14 year old girl posting video's on the internet, Why didn't her parent's know what she was up to in the first place?? I'm not a mum and I've probably got no right to tell anyone how to raise their kids but I'm sure as hell knowing I'm not letting my future children to have access to the net to do stuff like that.

secondly, her parents when I first started watching seemed ok, her dad is a policeman so I automatically thought he would of been so protective of his little girl but throughout the program you could see he was exploiting her and thinking of lining his own pockets, her mother.. well.. as for the comment she made about not every 40something year old man watching her 14 year old daughter dancing on the internet is a paedophile.. seriously what world does she live in? she's exploiting her daughter and trying to make an excuse for fuelling peado's.

thirdly, that man who sent her the bass, they were all saying what a big fan he was etc, I was thinking he was a boy her age not a man old enough to be her father, how the hell is that ever acceptable?? to me that is encouraging men to prey on a child.

I know stuff in Japan is different to over here but her parents are here, they've lived here and were brought up with this way of living, how could you do that to your own daughter?

that other girl seemed so uncomfortable on camera, she was 16 and the manager in a way said it was ok for men to look at her cos she was at the legal age, to me being 16 is still a kid when it comes to 40+ men.

Skimpy clothes on the 14 year old? I don't think that is skimpy by any stretch of the imagination
The most important thing is, that her parents know what is going on, if they saw anything that would harm their child, being the fact that one of them is a policeman, I am sure that he would of pulled the plug on her activities. There is nothing going on that is illegal, if the people who made comments on her that would be considered illegal, don't you think that the dad would use his position to find out who said that, and deal with the appropriate authorities?

Pffft, the photoshoot didn't involve any of a nude nature. Anime is Japan's culture where the characters dress up in school uniform.

I used to get bullied in school, that is the culture of the school grounds. Would you stop your child from having fun on the basis of stupid and jealous minded individuals? I wouldn't, though if any physical harm came to her, I would make sure the bullies know my presence

Sadly 14 is older than most of the kids who start off on youtube, I know this is true for at least the US. There are millions of ten, eleven year old doing the same thing (Cept their dancing here is more MTVish) and not making any money at all. They just like the attention. Hopefully nothing bad will happen to her because of this- though I guess you can't really hide from the chance of any child star having a negative experience because of their popularity.
