I feel for you Kat but I'm a hypocrite because I hate American football, now if it was proper football we were talking about I'd probably bore you to tears. That said, I did convert my missus from having no interest in football whatsoever into scaring the crap out of even the ICF, because of her passion for West Ham and the beautiful game! She even scares the crap out of me during the match!

lol i can get into sports but when i jumped from baseball right into football season (and both at once) i reached my limit especially when i had to turn off movies i was watching just cause a game was on

Hmm, a common dillemma. We usually video something if its that a big a game or I go down the pub to watch it. Only games I really must watch are West Ham and England in the football and England in the rugby. I hate our other national sport of cricket. We both love the Grand National and the boat race and I have to put up with her taking the piss every time Australia piss all over England at Rugby (the last WC final was sweet revenge but the're probably going to knock us out in the QFs next week this time round!
I also take her to a Walkabout pub everytime the Aussies are in a big football match. I thought the'd all take the piss out of me for being a Pommie bastard but the're actually the nicest and most enthusiastic bunch of football supporters you could ever meet!
