People had enough from Bush for 8 years and he failed them. Obama is facing an uphill task now in fixing the problems created by Bush and his gang. These celebreties are merely giving the Obama the encouragement to jump start and tackle the problems. I believe americans are resilient enough to overcome the problems

Fair enough. This is similar to what the repubs were saying about Clinton when Bush got into office. Personally, I think people are hanging too much hope on Obama. There is a lot of animosity in this country between the left and the right. It use to be the two sides would debate the issues and come to some compromise, with the bottom line being their belief in what was best for the country. Now I think there is much more of an attitude where one side is interested in sabotaging the other. It's become much more of an us verses them mentality. The country sufferes as a result.
