hes got all the energy but comes back when told

ours is an 8month old husky/lab mix... he acts like he's on crack most of the time... we can't let him run in the yard or else he gets into the road... and he doesn't get to burn enough energy off on the lease...

The only thing that I have found that keeps himin the yard is if my daughter is outside playing with the soccer ball, then he won't leave, BUT the cold weather is keeping that from happening right now!
