One day a gentleman was trying to gain access to the White house...he requested that he speak to President Bush...and he was stopped by a marine who said to the man: "Sir, please the president is busy and he has been voted out of office so, please comply with his wishes and go away." So the man did. Next day same man requests to meet up with the President and the same guard says to him "No, you can't see the president; he's busy closing out his days in the White house and just go away. So, the man does. The next day the same guy comes up to the White House where he is met by the same marine he has encountered for the past two days. This time before the man can say anything the marine gets close to his ear and whispers "Forget it, he's not in there just go home!"
The man starts to walk away and says to the marine: "I love it! That's great Bush isn't in there!"
Marine says to the man...."See ya tomorrow"
Guy, walking away turns to the marine...."you betcha!";)

One sunny day in January, 2009 an old man approached the White House from Across Pennsylvania Avenue, where he’d been sitting on a park bench. He spoke to the U.S. Marine standing guard and said, “I would like to go in and meet with President Bush.”
The Marine looked at the man and said, “Sir, Mr. Bush is no longer President and no longer resides here.” The old man said, “Okay”, and walked away.
The following day, the same man approached the White House and said to the same Marine, “I would like to go in and meet with President Bush.” The Marine again told the man, “Sir, as I said yesterday, Mr. Bush is no longer President and no longer resides here.” The man thanked him and, again, just walked away.
The third day, the same man approached the White House and spoke to the very same U.S. Marine, saying “I would like to go in and meet with President Bush.”
The Marine, understandably agitated at this point, looked at the man and said, “Sir, this is the third day in a row you have been here asking to speak to Mr. Bush. I’ve told you already that Mr. Bush is no longer the President and no longer resides here. Don’t you understand?”
The old man looked at the Marine and said, “Oh, I understand. I just love hearing it.”
The Marine snapped to attention, saluted, and said, “See you tomorrow, Sir.”

nah.long day at work with the village idiots.....not to be confused with Santa's elves. had a drunk guy at the bank wanting to cash a post dated check, then in turn he threating me...not something to say on Christmas Eve
