The Classic Celebrity Name Game

I looked through the games and none are the same as this one... Celebrity Name Game is close to it but, why it uses the 4th letter in the name for the next name is something I don't understand.
A name is started eg. Bill Cosby the next person has to use the first letter of the last name for their first letter of the first name of next name . So Bill Cosby next name is Cameron Diaz the next name has to start with D...

Rules are as followed: No names can be repeated, they must be celebrities, pro athletes, musicians, presidents and such... No cartoon characters or fictional characters can be used.
