I talked to his mom yesterday and she said that he's like this because he's an only child and not use to having to share attention with other kids. I hate that excuse for not teaching your kid how to behave.

Yeah, can take some time to get through all the things to try out for the best way around things with a child. At least they are trying things then. Can't be easy.
