since we live in the city/metro area, this guy comes up every year from Missouri and I buy a cord of wood from him.
He's very nice but the kind i put in my fireplace is the only wood he's got, i'm buyin

Now I understand.

I won't have to buy wood for this year or next and maybe longer. I didn't pay a dime for any of it. The tragedy is that all the wood came from trees on my acreage. The county cut most of it down on the road easement and we kept it. They even cut the trees into manageable lengths. Some were downed over the years by storms and such.
