Help Needed!!

[Corbidaska]

Hi all, my name is David and I'm a 15 year old singer/songwriter from Brisbane, Australia.

I have written five songs with the intention of making an album, but what I really want to do is create a band.
The band's name will be Corbidaska (<--that is negotiable).

My music taste is alternative/rock/metal, and I intend for the band to follow this genre on the most part.

My influences are Evanescence, KoRn, The Dresden Dolls, H.I.M and Tool


If there are any musicians in Brisbane keen to give this a go, PLEASE do not hesitate to contact me, I'm open to all requests

Do you have any samples of your music? And what is the reason behind "Corbidaska"?

Well, I have equipment to record it, and I plan to soon, but I don't have any instruments but my keyboard... but yeah, I'll put some of my music up when I record it.

As for Corbidaska, (Yeah, I know this is gonna sound stupid but oh well), me and my mum are really close... we are both poets, and we are both visual artists, and when I first started having thoughts of making a band, the original idea was that it would be me, my brothers and my mum. My brothers names are Anthony and Steven, mine is David, and our last name is Corby. So I put the first letters of our names after our last name then added "ka" to make it sound pretty... though, the idea of the band consisting of my family is long since gone, because Steven betrayed us and through an extremely frustrating sequence of circumstances, I ended up being told that I'm allowed no contact whatsoever with my brothers.
The name itself is still very valuable to me, though... stupid, really.
