Yes. Going alone won't do.

Very different. The cities are made for walking.. mind you there are tons of car traffic but you can just walk or use transit to get where ever you need to.

I hear that most major cities here in Canada are like that.

Too bad Calgary sucks at transit too, although I bet it's better than Edmonton's, going to a major location takes at least an hour

Yeah the old part of Montreal is the best for walking.

Yeah I know it's ok it takes 30 min to get from the train station closest to our house to downtown. But if you are using buses forget it.:willy_nilly::willy_nilly:

Where do people in Alberta think of the crap? Public transit sucks, so does the roads, construction, etc etc... ughhh....

I think they have some old geezers that have been around since god knows when and it all has to be approved by them. These geezers have never been outside the province and they have no idea what a modern city/province should be run.
