That is lots of things I didn't know..

I really never thought much about homeschooling.

It is a big job. If you feel you wouldn't want to tackle it, don't be upset. You definitely won't be in the minority.

Make it a point though to be a big influence in your child's education. Get to know his teacher(s) and the curriculum. You will know Liam the best and can help to guide him in a successful schooling experience.

Although, at times, Liam may not want you involved at all. In fact, he may be as stubborn as you and push your help away at times. Don't let it stop you though. Always be there for him and when he needs to, he'll seek you out.

Okay.... now that we've got Liam through school..... What college have you got in mind for him? :24:

Forget home schooling unless your schools suck. In which case I would try to move if at all possible.

I am not a fan of how the public schools are run for the most part. But if the parents are pro active in the school district the schools are fine. Ours is one of the best in the country let alone the state.

Home schooling might make a kid smart, (not politically in your case due to Jim) but the loss of social skills is very much something that can happen. One look at the national spelling bee will show how some of these kids are messed up.

as to the question.............

why do you not have a crib yet? Unless I misunderstood

I have a feeling he will be close... ... I am hoping they are all wrong and he's about 7-8lbs...

I haven't seen you post a pregnant belly shot lately. The last picture, you didn't have much of a baby belly. I'm going with 8 pounds, max. :)

How long will your hospital stay be?
