It's never ends. My TSH levels are elevated, which means my thyroid medicine will more than likely be changed again.

I was waiting for someone to ask that!! ding ding ding - you win the prize!!!
It's the phrase I use to get my three year old daughter wound up like an eight day clock. :D

No matter where I am in the house, I'll belt out, "YOU'VE GOT TO TOUCH THE HINEY!!!" in this goofy, high pitched voice and she'll start giggling no matter where she is because she knows I'm coming to get her and tickle her. She just starts laughing immediately, and I think that's so sweet. It just triggers something joyful in her - sometimes, I'll say it and she'll come running TO me, laughing all the way.

When I type it here, I see her cherubic little face, and it makes me smile ;)

*yawn*

The REAL story...

Why did the chicken cross the road??

Cause he saw a fine ass hen over there saying, [black girl voice]HaaAAY! Whatchoo doin' boyfrand?" So he went over there to check her out.

Problem is, he was so wanting to be up in the hoochie that he forgot to look both ways, and tragically, right after this picture was taken

road01.jpg

he was annihilated by a band of leather clad, hellbent-for-sin grannie bikers on their way to the Hell's Angels Centennial Celebration.

A moment of silence for our fallen rooster comrade, please.

No worries - this ain't either one of the "Ask gp" threads, so I'll withhold teh wisdom and keep it for those, which, by the way, you haven't visited in a while and have YET to post a serious question in. :mad :(

are you bringing this back from your ask gp thread?
yeah, I guess. Somebody told me it was so funny over there, I needed to put it in the PW thread since this is The Thread That Rules Them All.

So I obliged. I thought it was funny, but not THAT funny. But hey, I'm just the messenger...:cool :D

Well, before I got pregnant, as long as I took my medicine one a day, I had no problems. I went in once every six months to check all my thyroid hormone levels. Now, I'm slipping towards hypothyroidism (which you can read about here Hypothyroidism Causes, Symptoms, Diagnosis, Treatment Information Produced by Medical Doctors ). I don't have any of the symptoms that aren't related to pregnancy. As far as the baby, it can affect the mental growth. Which is why they test it at least once a month (and they throw it in with the regular pregnancy blood test).

It's not too bad, just annoying. The only bad part is they keep giving me three month supplies but it seems to be changing once a month, which means I have several unused bottles.
