Where would you like to go if you could travel the world?

the day i hit it big on the lottery my plans start......first on the agenda would be east coast to west coast of canada on a herley.....then down the west coast of america and cutting across to florida

then it would be a couple of months in oz

then i'd retreat to my private tropical island to make more plans

That would be fantastic! I have gone from Montreal all the way to St. Johns, NFLD but haven't had much travelling out west here. One goal for me would to do Calgary to Vanvouver Island! The mountains are stupendous!

Good luck on the lottery! :):thumbup

I always wanted to ride a bike around the entire Montreal riverside roads. Below is how far I actually got. With all the traffic and lights it took about three hours. I wonder how long the entire island would take?

Found the problem.....traffic lights and you stop? When you're on a motorcycle traffic lights are more of a suggestion than a requirement.
:D
LOL! And if you have driven in Montreal you would know how true that is! For me riding a bike there traffic lights were always an option!

But it truly would be a great ride. some of it is typical big city industrial rot and some commercial but some of it is old money mansions and the west end I indicated that I drove is actually rural. By the way, the maps indicates only the part I covered in one go. I have most of the south shore but not much of the north.

Speaking of ice and togoggans, where is the coldest place you would like to see?
probably Alaska to see the glaciers

my son talked about going down to Antarctica to work as an EMT a couple years ago but then reality hit as it was a 6 month or 1 year committment.

I would go to Mt. Everest but as I recall they do not have any helicopter drop offs :D

lots of places in the States I would like to check out for historic reasons. none that would interest a Canadian I would suspect

I went east this summer and went to Gettysburg, Williamsburg and Jamestown

Gettysburg has tons of history for the war buffs and I would do again.

Jamestown and Williamsburg were big disappointments.

I know you have no clue about these places but others viewing might

Au contraire, mon ami! I am not completely ignorant of American history. ;)

If money and time were no objects, I'd probably start travelling and never come back home! lol I'd wanted to visit England from the time I was little and got that chance in April...and I'm going back in October. But I'd love to see Italy, France, Spain, Australia, Egypt, Brazil, Chile, etc. I've been all over this country, Canada, and parts of Mexico, but I'm really dying to get out there more. I have a touch of the wanderlust, what can I say :)
