Dont know if anyone can help me... but i am having computer issues. My computer has had no problem burning dvds until like the last two days. it reads the blank disc as being blank.. and then all of a sudden pops up with can not write to disc. clean surface or use another disc. any idea why it is doing this?? i have tried multiple different discs and keep getting the same error message.

thought to try rebooting the compootah?
 
Mine was never retarded before.. now it is.. think maybe i need a driver update or whatever that warning thing is on all the blank discs you buy.. but no idea how to it .. or i could be completely wrong.
 
First things first

Open your device manager and check the entry for your DVD player, make sure it is working properly, and update\rollback any drivers.
Although to be honest, my first suspicion would it be being a hardware problem.
