windmills

on my way to a car show this past weekend, i saw these windmills out in the middle of a field in Ohio. its actually a wind farm that produces power for about 5 small towns. pretty cool so here is the pics i took:

Good stuff and very environmentally friendly though they make a bloody racket! No wonder the wind farms over here are mainly being built a couple of miles off the coast!

And personally I think wind turbines are beautiful! A lot of people complain about how they spoil the view but I really love them

i thought it was odd seeing them out in the middle of no where. and they were really quiet.

I can see several of those outside through my window right now - but they are quite distant (on a hill).
