Good bands mostly come from the 90s and earlier. So it's good to be old school.

See, I find that my top bands, well a lot of 'em anyways, are from the 90s to the present. Not saying I don't like old music but if we're talking strictly favourite bands, then yeah.

A lot of my favourite bands started their careers in the 80s and 90s. I only like a couple that are more recent.

I got a few that technically started in the 80s, like Nirvana and Mr. Bungle, but they didn't get known really until the 90s.

I'd like to rephrase my last comment. I think more started in the 80s than I originally thought. Word.
