I've heard bands in all the genres Mase listed but I don't like this genre thing either. Sure, at first it's okay because it's simple but then people start going crazy with calling bands "melodic laptop proto-punk post-nerdcore jazz gore-prog-grind bubblegum-hardhouse techno-hop with some thrash-polka influence."

For the record, that'd be a pretty cool band. But still.



I do know my favourite band, it's been Slipknot for 6 years. I don't really feel like listing the other numerous bands I love.
