Isn't it illegal??

wow, this is just insane.
i would have called the police if anyone tied down my child.
fuck behavior issues
u dont tie a baby down (5 yrs old is a baby!!!)
do u tie him up at home? then why is it ok for them to tie him up at school?
me? i'd call the media, the police and my lawyers.

does your lil bro have a learning disability? is he perhaps autistic? no child is a BAD CHILD.

Poor little guy. I hope he's gonna be ok. Just hug your little brother and dont make him feel any different than anyone else. Kids sense that.

Methinks there may have been some exaggerations in the interpretations of what happened as passed through various parties..

I don't know about illegal, per se, but it certainly violates some rights. Do you know if Crisis Intervention Team classes are offered in your area??? I took this class a little over a year ago and they trained us on how to deal w/ a wide variety of problems including Autistic children, PTSD sufferers, and paranoid schizophrenics. I think the most informative part of the class, however, was a virtual reality experience that allowed us to actually experience a paranoid delusion. It was insane...I couldn't imagine going through that FOR REAL. But the point is that they trained us on how to approach these situations, how to talk to the person affected to draw out the information we need, and how to end it peacefully w/o having to result to force.

That the worker that tied him down has been suspended is proof enough that they were in the wrong. This is the stuff a lawyer's wet dream is made of!!!

girl... i don't know about that...
maybe if he was being very violent and hitting or hurting other people & the kids... i dunno...
there could have been another better way of handling it!!!
i think i would go mad if someone tied up my son!
let me know how things go ok!
