Do You Get Insulted When Someone You Consider Not in Your League Hits on You?

No one has ever actually hit on me, so I've never been in the situation, but I would be mad.

You're missing the point. How would you react if the "Wal-Mart cashier" did make a pass?

I wouldn't feel insulted!!! If he actually had game, I would carry on a nice conversation w/ him. If he fed me corny lines, I would politely listen while making my way out the door. The only time I've reacted negatively was when I finally told a guy that I was a lesbian...but you have to admit that a guy that asks if you smoke crack after he's been told you work for the Sheriff's Department pretty much deserved it.

And again, it's a little different to find someone attractive and think they'd actually want to go out with you. I find Brad Pitt attractive (same with that French guy) but hardly expect them to want to date me. I find that presumptuous.

I disagree. People have different tastes and while you might think they are out of your league, you may be exactly what he is turned on by. For instance, I have a friend that I was VERY attracted to. He's the kind of guy that women just fall over...cute, funny, etc. I never in my life thought I'd have a chance w/ him so I never hit on him (although we did flirt back and forth...but I always assumed he was just joking around). But one night I had some liquid courage and I did make a pass at him...let's just say, I was rewarded heavily. ;)

Oh I knew a guy who worked at Wal-Mart while working on his Phd in philosophy so don't knock 'em.

Anyone who thinks the're above people and think like that need to grow the fuck up and pull their head out of their arse!:wtf:
Very true. While some people are more attractive than others, you should go around judging people based on "Leauges" or whatever the hell is popular. Just because somebody isn't as attractive as you think they should be based on today's standards, doesn't mean they aren't a great person. Looks only go so far, personality is more important. Not to sound cheesy, but I'd rather have an "ugly" person that knows how to have a fun time than a boring person that's hella hot(But that doesn't mean I don't appreciate hot girls :D).

If people only go for the opposite sex who are in their "league" looks wise as you put it, please explain this?:dunno

Then I'm sending you a total keeper. She may not be much to look at, but she's honest, loyal, and a good person. And from the looks of it, I think she can cook too.

ok this thread went from stop acting so snobish to ripping on the fat lady where did this become ok?

We're not knocking the fat lady. I was just using a picture with a false story as an example to blast all this crap about how looks don't mean anything out of the water. I, in fact, believe that it's a combination of looks and personality that is necessary for attraction. Besides, she mighta been cute in her early days. I know for a fact that Dodge is over there fapping away right now. Don't be so quick to judge. :D

Oh I wouldn't knock 'em based solely on the fact that he worked at Wal-mart...I'm just saying that I wouldn't go looking for dates at Wal-mart. Just as I wouldn't seek out someone w/ children to date, but if I met a nice guy and he just happened to have children, I'm not gonna NOT date him just b/c of that.

Oh, and to add to this:

I find a sense of humor MUCH more sexy than anything else.
