For the love of God (no pun intended) man, Jesus knew he was going to be Sacrificed BEFORE he was even taken. He could have ran, he could have done alot of things I'm sure, but he decided to let himself be captured, tried, and SACRIFICED.

I think the whole moral of the story is that he willingly let himself be crucified, hence another sacrifice in the bible.
