Ok...anyone with Blackberrys?

For work, I'm looking at the 8830 and the Pearl, 8130.

I'm pretty picky with these smartphones and I was curious if anyone could name some cons that they have with theirs, if you have one?

I have to have one for business, quite simply I couldn't live without it. The thing to remember is they are really geared a little more towards business use than entertainment, so some functions are not always very user friendly, but beyond that they are flexible, powerful and good at the intended purpose.

Oh and I have the big ole fat one, but I would recommend the pearl for "normal" use, they have made that one pretty adapted to typical phone/text/email useage.

I think I've pretty much decided on the 8830. The keyboard is a big factor, and it's thin and light. I am finding that a lot of people here, (work), use it the most, and request it the most. So, that's a good sign.

The 8830 is where my company is finally going, and thank God, the one I have is like carrying a freaking briefcase

I think you would be happy with the 8830 or the Pearl, both are great phone IMO

It's not an accessory, it's a business tool.. I like that one because it runs a Windows OS. They have great soft ware to intergrate with the software you run on your computer at work.

Yah, but it's OOGLAY. Your phone is nicer looking. But, even so, I wouldn't want to carry it around all the time.

I can't see a reason for the Windows on the go thing! For me, anyway.

Ok.. I'm giving you my advice after looking over the phones.. And my major advice is to not buy a blackberry! The phone I selected for you was the better out of the non blackberrys.
