black widow spiders ?

i got a car i'am going to work on , the guy says its been sitting 8 years in arkanas, it had black widows all in it , the man sad he bombed the car. but iam still leary of working on it.i have to strip the car for him. i dont think the bomb would kill all of them ? what about if there in the door panels and under the seat and dash too? i dont want to get it towed to my house,and have them spread over at my house or getting bit by them .

should i get the man to call a professinal ,to kill them?

I've never dealt with black widows but I have with their Australian cousins, the redbacks. If it's any consolation, they arn't agressive despite being poisonous and will only bite if you provoke them. I even had one crawl down my arm once. I would suggest giving your clothes a good shake out afterwards though.

Burn the Goddamn thing. Burn it, then buy a new car as soon as possible. It's better to send the car with the possibility of an evil spider in it up in flames then to take the chance and go within 2000 feet of it.

i think im going to get him to call orkin, to spray both cars b4 they come over here. i just dont want 1000s of baby widows at my house to grow up.and bite my dogs. it can be fatal to them ,

They aren't easy to kill with pesticides and crap. So, best solution is to blow it up and tell the insurance company that you were targetted by the mafia.
 
I always found Black Widows to be an odd aracnid. They are a web spider, meaning they depend on their web to catch their pray. Yet they stay in dry dark places like garages, sheds, cars, etc. Most web catching spiders prefer the outdoors. More flying insects for the picking. I hate blackwidows. I hope I never get in an altercation with one.
