Autism Awareness month!

It is not only Austism Awareness Month (even though everyday is Autism Awareness Day at my house)
But my birthday is also this month

We just have Autism day here, which is today.
No-one's going out of their way to make it an 'aware' day though, so why they say that, who knows. :mad
My son is very mis-understood and it is so annoying and upsetting at times with the comments made about him, on top of all the other things he has too.
There is absolutley nothing to make people listen if they don't want to - it only gets a brief mention on tv and that's it.
People should be forced to go to a seminar or something, especially in professions where understanding of peoples' 'behaviour' could be accounted for more often and where people like my son are accepted and tolerated.
