Man every time I watch Dazed and Confused it makes me wish I grew up in those times. Shit just looked so much easier then. That and beating freshmen's ass with paddles would've been fucking fun as shit.

I'm more into the middle ages. No electricity, no major pollutants, the undiscovered country side. I would have loved to live back then.

there was no internet........in fact computors were the size of a house
american football was a mere myth
we believed columbo was real
we had cinemas.......not multi plex's
if you had a colour tv you had a housefull on cup final day
a chopper was a push bike
black beauty was unmissable viewing
designer labels didn't exist
kids were safe to play outside
having a drink was affordable
kids knew what discipline was
we'd rather walk than get a lift
ahh.........those days were good
