So I'm a little concerned

I've recently started urinating about every 2 hours. No other symptoms like pain or blood are present. I've had two uncles with bladder cancer and my grandfather had prostate cancer.

I'm going to the doctor next week. I'm a little nervous about this, it's very uncommon for me.

I recently had a physical in December and they did a Urinalysis and that came back ok, so it's not a UTI.... As far as I know.

Yea I found that out about Caffeine. When I drink that it feels like I'm being stabbed in my bladder.

Now I just drink water. Hell I drink so much water now my piss is basically clear.

I'm hoping I just have a bladder infection.

I think if it were a UTI, you'd be in the ER like I was right before xmas. Think seering pain with every two drops of pee. OY

You may have a bladder infection but since you don't have pain, blood or other symptoms, your having to pee so often is prob due to all the water you are drinking. Do you take blood pressure medication? That can act as a diaretic (make ya pee more). Don't mean to get too personal here but how is the stream -- steady, dribbling, stop and start, etc?

BTW, you can over hydrate yourself and throw your electrolytes out of balance (i.e., potassium, sodium, cloride etc.). Sooooo don't drink too much water.

Its good that you have doc appointment next week. Don't fret it Cotton you're on the right path by seeking medical attention. It's prob nothing at all but best to have it checked.

Good luck and keep us posted.
